Infragistics Releases Showcase Control Samples for WPF, Silverlight and WP7!

Verizon updates HTC Trophy radio firmware

Verizon is now pushing out an update to HTC WP7 Trophy phones which consists of a radio firmware update.  This should resolve some of the GSM roaming issues that have affected oweners when they went abroad and returned to the US.  The operating system version will remain the same as 7.10.7720.68, while other details include a firmware revision number (2305.13.20110.605) and a radio software version (1.53.00.12.01_23.17w.05.13U).

Coding4Fun Phone Tools v1.5 Released!

The latest release of WP7 Coding4Fun Toolkit has been released.  Bug fixes include enlarging the slider touch area and the fixing of a ColorSlider bug.  The toolkit has also been updated to the Nov Silverlight Toolkit. A new MetroFlow control has been added to the toolkit.  In addition, disabled looks for ColorSlider, SuperSlider, and ColorPicker have been added.  Title updates have been made for the TimeSpanPicker and SuperSlider controls as well. How I made the ‘myChannel9′ wp7 app

Sigurd Snørteland writes a tutorial on how he wrote the myChannel9 WP7 app, complete with source code. The wp7-app 'myChannel9' displays news and videos from channel9.com, and offers features like the ability to favorite a show, browse by tags or search by keyword and, of course, the ability to watch videos right on your device (in portrait and landscape mode).
